During spring, all eyes are on Etixx - Quick-Step. Superstar Tom Boonen is the focus of a team that gets so much attention that you sometimes do not know if you are dealing with Flanders or with Hollywood. While Tom Boonen starts out the season recovering from a heavy injury, the rest of the team is failing to win a big race. Outside pressure is growing. Flanders is doubting the capabilities of "her" Tom Boonen. The team shuts out the outside world and aims at Paris-Roubaix with enough hunger to eat cobbles.

Etixx - Quick-Step does not just have champions, but also some young promising riders. They come from all over the world and their integration into the team is different for each of them. Laurens De Plus is the youngest rider in the current peloton and immediately in the team of Tom Boonen, the rider he idolised as a kid. In Liège–Bastogne–Liège he learns a lot in order to become a top rider himself one day. Julian Alaphilippe is the upcoming star of French cycling. In California he experiences what it means to become a superstar.
