3. Manhunters

Kurau takes on an extremely dangerous assignment, rescuing a space pilot whose spaceship has gone out of control. There are complications, however. Kurau and Christmas are being watched by the GPO, the police department of the future, and a blonde man, who apparently is a private agent.

Kurau and Christmas are on the run from the GPO and must leave their old life behind. Kurau gets a job as an agent with a new company, going after a gang of art thieves. When Kurau's new partner is captured, she is forced to rescue him.

Kurau convalesces from her injuries incurred in her previous case. Christmas takes care of her, doing the cooking and the shopping.
