The villagers are surprised looking at them flaunt their new style.

Indumati and Bindumati are in competition to welcome Sudha Chachi to their respective homes. They push their husbands out of their homes so they get used to sleeping outside, while Sudha Chachi stays at home. Mausi tries to make Indumati understand that she need not fight with her sister. Indumati plans to get a dress stitched for Chachi and so does Bindumati. Busy Pandey creates confusion by pitching in details to both of them.

Villagers gather along dressed for the party, dance on bollywood numbers and welcome the New Year. The gang of boys then decide to leave for Kanpur post mid night, they are warned by mausi to grab some rest.
