When a role comes along that spells Oscar, he loses out to Lone Richards, a young hunk Dano calls ""a face for a nine inch TV screen."" Richards naively seeks Dano's advice on how to play the part. Bad move. Dano gives Richards bad advice on purpose and Richards loses the part and Dano gets it. Richards becomes enraged by this and wants revenge.
