5. SanTaku 2007

This year's SanTaku is "The Longest Day of SanTaku" where they do all their activities in a single day. The various activities include rock climbing; the Game of Life, SanTaku Version; horse riding; observing flying squirrels; cooking dinner for each other; and finding a real girlfriend for Sanma, part 2. The show wraps up with Sanma fulfilling his dream of taking a bath in an oil barrel while Kimura sings Sanma's requested song: "Kissin'SanTaku" (original song: Kissin' Christmas).

6. SanTaku 2008

Sanma's chosen activity is to perform Japanese Buyo, a traditional dance, instead of having Kimura sing a song. He also wants to "scold Japan" for electing comedian Higashikokubaru as governor of Miyazaki prefecture, which leads to them doing various activities in Miyazaki such as surfing. Meanwhile, Kimura wants Sanma to dye his hair brown for the first time in his life, and also directs a romantic drama starring Sanma and the model Aizawa Sayo. The two compete in sumo and kendo. The show wraps up with Sanma and Kimura's dance performance.

Sanma's chosen activity is to try and beat Kitajima Yousuke's world breast stroke record, while Kimura wants to retry the Taku-chan Man vs Black Devil Dharma Drop they failed during that year's FNS 27 Hour TV. Kimura's chosen activity is riding in a fighter jet with the Blue Impulse while Sanma chooses to play tennis against professional Sugiyama Ai. They also have the Memorial for Sanma Giving up Hope for Getting Married SP, which involves 3 gravure idols fulfilling Sanma's requests. The two compete in the Ushiwakamaru Sports Test with box vaulting. The show wraps up with Kimura singing Sanma's requested song: Mainichi ga Brand New Day.

The theme of this year's SanTaku is adventure. Sanma and Kimura go to Okinawa and see a snake show before going treasure hunting in a cave. Due to the 2011 Touhoku earthquake and tsunami, this year's SanTaku's theme is "Comeback". Sanma and Kimura discuss various celebrities that have overcome difficulties and staged a comeback, and talk to two of them: Krumm-Date Kimiko and Steven Tyler. They play baseball against the kid's team Kamaishi Dream Eastern. The show wraps up with Kimura singing Egao no Manma.

The theme of this year's SanTaku is "Men and Women". Various female talents discuss their frustrations about men with Sanma and Kimura. Sanma also chooses for the two to try waterfall training. The show wraps up with Kimura singing Sanma's requested song: Anta.

12. SanTaku 2014

The theme of this year's SanTaku is "The One" in honor of Japan hosting the 2020 Olympics. Sanma and Kimura compete in golf (via simulator), wrestling, and archery against future gold medalists: elementary and middle school aged athletes. Sanma also wants to create a song based off a jingle he sang repeatedly during his most recent appearance on SMAPxSMAP. The show wraps up with Kimura and Sanma performing the finished product: Tomato Juice Da Yo~n.

13. SanTaku 2015

Kimura's chosen activity is making Sanma sing on stage with him during SMAP's Mr. S concert, while Sanma chooses to draw and play around with LEDs. This year's SanTaku was filmed and aired in the spring instead of on New Year's due to SMAP's disbandment. Sanma decides that he wants Kimura to start from the beginning and has him be his assistant for a full day. Later, the two visit places used in famous scenes from their respective breakout dramas "Seven Men and Women, Summer Story" and "Long Vacation". The show wraps up with Kimura singing the theme songs from said dramas: SHOW ME and LA ・LA ・LA LOVE SONG.
